Yesterday was a sad day. We had to say goodbye to Eric's family dog: Dribble. Today I'm thankful for her for providing amusement, cuddles and love for the past seven years that I have known her.

I am sorry... Losing a family pet is so hard. Both of my brothers' families lost their dog this year and our family cat died last week. I had gotten the cat from my HS boyfriend when I was 17, so he lived a long and full life, but it was sad when he died. He was more of my mom's cat as I moved away 1 year after we got him and he was always her baby, but it is still sad and it will be weird to go home this weekend and not see him (his name was allegro. I named him and just loved his name!)

ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry to hear about the loss of Eric's family dog :( I can't believe I've never had to deal with this myself (we always ended up giving away our pets before they died, because we couldn't handle them!). But I can only imagine how hard it is.
