It's been a crazy past two days. Yesterday I went straight from work to tutoring to the Red Sox Game, yay! Then today I went straight from work to the Cape for the weekend. Needless to say I have not had a lot of time to blog, but I wanted to do a quick Yoga post since I said I was going to do a challenge update on Fridays. I started on Monday, here is how I did this week:
Monday- Yoga Sculpt (Exercise TV)- 33 minutes
Tuesday- Yoga for Runners- 10 minutes
Wednesday- Yoga for Triathletes- 10 minutes
Thursday- okay I admit it, I slacked- I had no time on Thursday and I really wanted to do the Shred before work. I did attempt to get my kindergartners to do yoga for a few minutes and did it with them- so I did try.
Friday- Yoga Sculpt (Exercise TV)- 33 minutes
Not too bad so far. I really love the Yoga Sculpt video from Exercise TV. It reminds me so much of the hot yoga classes I take (and the weather the past two days has helped this feeling!).
How has everyone been doing?
I will post some pictures from the last couple of days this weekend when I have some time. I am waking up early tomorrow morning to get some wedding planning stuff done. I am going to try on some bridal gowns for the first time tomorrow. I should be more excited but for some reason this is one of the things that I am not that excited about. I really like pretty colored dresses, so I am more into the bridesmaid dresses. I am going to have Caroline (my sister) try some on tomorrow. I'll let you know how it goes!

ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
Oh, I've been slacking on the yoga challenge. I fail :(
ReplyDeleteI'm more excited about bridesmaid dresses too!
Enjoy trying on bridal dresses, even though you aren't too excited about it right now. :D
ReplyDeleteGreat job getting your Yoga in!
good job with the yoga challenge!!!
ReplyDeletehave fun tryin on the dresses ;)
You will prolly know "the dress" when you try it on ;)
Great job with all the yoga!
ReplyDeleteI'm so jealous of going to the Cape. I've always wanted to go there.
So, you were right.... 1 1/2 hours of yoga daily right off the bat is not so manageable. This girl got tuckered out by Friday and did no exercise at all Friday and slept in late on Saturday.
ReplyDeleteI started off with a bang, paused the Bikram for 2 days and will be back there tomorrow. Today, I did a long run and will soon follow that up with NYC ballet (my version of yoga at home).
great job on your yoga challenge! i did 1 day this week... though it did make me stretch out longer after my runs.
