Looking Forward

I have 2 more days of school and then it's summer :) Technically I'm working next week but it's a 4 day week and half days so I can't complain about that.  I have so much to look forward to this summer including...

Today: I'm going out to dinner with some friends from work.

This Week: My first official day of summer will be spent celebrating my best friend's 30th birthday!

This Month: Just heading down the Cape and spending lots of time with this guy...

This Year: Even though we are taking a temporary hiatus from big trips, we do have a few things in the works. We will go on a long weekend trip to New Hampshire in July and a trip to Florida in December. Hard to believe Max will be almost a year old then!

  1. Yea! Two more days! You are the ONLY teacher I know that is still working! I hope the week flies by! I think you are going to have an awesome summer. I bet you can't wait for all the time with Max! This week I am looking forward to Phil's party, this month I am looking forward to going to the lake next weekend and this year I am looking forward to doing my first trail race!

  5. Got so excited when I saw the word Florida as I hoped we would be there at the same time but alas, not this time around. Maybe in the future =) Can't wait to hear/read about the Cape adventures and see more pics of your adorable son.

  6. It's so weird to think that you're just starting summer now! Happy Summer!!! Enjoy your well-deserved time off! Your Max is too precious! I bet it will be so fun to take him on lots of "firsts" this summer - 1st beach day, 1st swim in the pool, ect!

  7. Whoo hoo for summer! It will be so great to get back to spending lots of time with Max I'm sure. Obviously our big trip for the year is already out of the way but I'm looking forward to tiny mini camping getaways this summer. Plus in general summer tends to feel more like a vacation to me than other times of year because it's usually full of so many fun things!
